It happened. I was tagged by ~whitelyte. I figured I'd use this time to update my journal. So here we are.

1. Post these rules
2. Each person tagged must post 8 random facts about themselves
3. Tags should write a journal/ blog of these facts
4. At the end of the post 8 more persons are tagged and named
5. Go to their page and leave a comment telling them they're tagged.

1. I skipped a grade. Grade 2 to be specific. But then I kind of canceled that out when I did an extra semester of high school.

2. I can't sleep with anything covering my feet, be it blankets or socks or otherwise. Even when it's minus a billion outside and my window is open. I just get too hot otherwise.

3. Looking back on things, I was an odd little child. I have been raised and weaned on fantasy, probably starting when my dad read me The Hobbit in Grade 1 (I brought in the book to show the class what I was reading at the time) and then The Lord Of The Rings the next year. Although I also read the Narnia books on my own that year (and had a Narnia themed party where everyone had to dress up as a character), and inspired my teacher to read them to my class. A couple of weeks ago I found a short story i had written for a school assignment in Grade 6. It was about "Korach the lizardman". Is that normal? At least it's good to know I haven't changed much.

4. I love winter. Snow is great, and I much prefer cold weather to hot. If given the chance, I would gladly move further north.

5. I consider myself to be somewhat of a history buff. It's always interested me (again adding to the odd child thing), and I love learning about it. Ancient Egypt in particular fascinates me, and I actually know the hieroglyphic alphabet. Have since I was probably about 7 or 8.

6. I hope that someday i will be a crazy old cat lady. I really don't see anything wrong with that.

7. Apparently I have inherited the 'camping Nazi' gene from my mom. I always would get annoyed with her on family camping trips, because everything had to be just so and she would tell us to move/change/reorganize this or that when I thought it was just fine where it was. Then I started taking my friends camping...and luckily they don't mind having me boss them around. Or are just too polite to complain. Or I know better than to actually take their complaints seriously.

8. I am a grammar Nazi as well. I feel the compulsion to edit things that are poorly spelled or worded. It hurts me when I read things like "your on camera" or "were are you". JUST LEARN PROPER ENGLISH. And would it really kill you to spell 'colour' with that 'u'? It looks so much nicer with it...I just wish that my computer wouldn't tell me that I'm wrong for spelling things the Canadian way.

Well that too far much longer than it should have. Bah. Anyway, I'm gonna just tag a bunch of people because I have no idea who's done this and who hasn't. You don't have to do it, but I know that I personally love reading these things.

~Lyn-effacable , ~steponitjean , ~lemonzest , ~niceparabola , ~CatHatGirl , ~CheshireDreams , *SilverWind7 , ~dukespirit , ~laurabeth

And anyone else who really wants to do this.

The Hand of Fate hasn't been updated in 4 years... -sad-
Oh man! I am...speechless! I didn't think anyone really read that, nevermind even enjoying it...

I'm sorry, but I'm bad enough at keeping art projects going. Writing projects are even worse. I wish I could tell you how I had planned to make the story pan out, but I was writing on the fly. Didn't have any ideas for future plots whatsoever. Which is probably a large reason as to why it died. I tried rewriting it a couple times but my heart just wasn't in it anymore.

Thanks for taking the time to read it though. Should I ever become re-obsessed with PoP and resurrect the story I will be sure to drop you a note though=)

I just got into the series (was forced to play T2T as part of a class, lol) and the tiny fandom was rather dismaying. But I was able to find quality stuff like your fic, and once I got to the last chapter I was rather dismayed to find out that the rest of the story had gone *poof*. :noes:

I found your story compelling because all the other PoP fics I encountered before were retellings of story events, oneshots delving into detail on a certain part of the story or a character, but never a full-out new adventure/AU. And though I suppose this doesn't count as praise, I also love seeing my favorite characters get beaten up. hehe.... Nesia was also an intriguing character in her malevolent, domineering, and utterly remorseless attitude towards the Prince. It felt rather refreshing.

So by all means, tell me when/if you restart the story!
Ho, shit. *stalk*
