So...did this for my portfolio over a month ago. Just getting around to scanning and uploading it now. I suppose it's a self-portrait of sorts, since the easiest reference for me to find is a mirror. And then I had to scan it in several parts and mess around with the colours so it looks kind of different in some parts, but such is life.

I REALLY find acrylics frustrating to paint with. On the one hand, they're nice and blend-y, thick so you can add some texture. But on the other hand, I find myself struggling to get a nice crisp line half the time. While yelling at the silly paint.

Oh yeah, this is an entry for ~laurabeth's potrait contest. I hope it meets the guidelines and everything, it's not really a typical portrait.

This is interesting. Did you paint the whole face, or only three sections? The veins in the eyes are my favourite.

Nope, this is all I painted. Although I found myself wanting to do more, like the mouth and hair...but I only had 3 canvases.

It was a bit weird painting the veins, since I'd never done it before. But thanks:D
